UPDATE, Oct. 13: The southbound lane of Wright Street and the adjacent sidewalk are expected to close on Monday, Oct. 16, as Alabama Power work continues in the area. Work is expected to begin at 4 a.m. A brief power outage is planned in the area, and all affected customers will be notified by Alabama Power.

All residences in the area will remain accessible as well as the Wright Street Parking Deck. Traffic control measures will be in place to help drivers navigate around the closure. Pedestrians are advised to use the sidewalk along the east side of Wright Street.

Sept. 28: AUBURN, Ala.- The southbound lane of Wright Street and the adjacent sidewalk will be closed Oct. 2-13, to facilitate Alabama Power work in the area. Work is expected to take place between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
